Our client was charged with possession with intent to sell or supply methamphetamine, with allegations that he intended to sell six grams of the drug. Due to the quantity involved, the case was required to proceed to the District Court.

Through successful negotiations with the prosecution, we were able to resolve the matter before trial and have the charge downgraded to simple possession only.

This outcome was a significant achievement, reducing what could have been a 2-3 year prison sentence to a $1,000 fine.
