Tim HAMPSON

Tim has developed a reputation for aggressive and persuasive court advocacy, complemented by his calming nature and strong interpersonal skills.   He frequently appears in the Magistrates Court, District Court, and Children’s Court, handling both State and Commonwealth matters.

Tim has represented several high-profile clients in cases that have garnered significant media attention. Before establishing WA Criminal Lawyers, he gained valuable experience working at the Aboriginal Legal Service and a private criminal law practice.

Tim is an active member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association of Western Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.

In his free time, Tim enjoys running, playing sports, and catching up with friends over coffee.

Reid HOGAN

Reid Hogan graduated top of his class with a Bachelor of Laws in 2019 and began his legal career the following year, dedicating himself exclusively to criminal law.

Reid has handled several high-profile cases, including representing a West Coast Eagles AFL player and the Perth Crown Casino Murder case. Before becoming a lawyer, Reid played a role in the Scott Austic case, working with Dr. Clint Hampson to overturn a murder conviction, exposing police corruption and the planting of key evidence, including the murder weapon.

Reid was awarded as a “Rising Star” in criminal law by Doyle’s Guide for Western Australia Criminal Lawyers.

Reid provides expert advice and representation in a broad range of criminal matters, including assault, traffic offences, property crimes like burglary and stealing, drug offences, and sexual offences. He also has specialist expertise in restraining orders and extraordinary licence applications. He regularly appears in the Magistrates and District Courts.

Outside of the courtroom, Reid is heavily involved in sports and is an avid supporter of the West Coast Eagles.
